Jo has been a yoga student since her late teens, training and teaching in Sivananda yoga in Kerala, India in her 20’s; later in Hatha Yoga, in the Gita tradition.
Seeking a sense of balance and inner harmony, Jo finds solace in the practice of yoga, allowing her to enter a receptive and mindful state. She compassionately guides her students, encouraging them to listen to their bodies, minds, emotions embedded in the present moment. Jo believes in the power of self-connection and accessing our innate healing abilities. Through Gita Hatha Yoga, she helps others find balance in their physical bodies by focusing on hormone-producing glands and energy centers. Students leave her class feeling rejuvenated, balanced, and prepared to tackle the outside world with renewed energy and purpose.
