Gayle Stone has been teaching in the fitness industry since the 1980s, and she still loves it! Her focus these days is working with older clients, who may have had rehabilitation in the past, or are working with age related injuries/issues.
Gayle is an experienced yoga teacher and a registered Personal Trainer, with further qualifications in Seniors yoga.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible for all levels. Her ‘Armchair’ Yoga class has been designed especially for older people, or those living with a disability. Using a chair as a prop, she gently coaches participants to explore:
- Strengthening muscles around the waistline
- Improving balance and posture
- Deepening the breath
- Creating a meditation practice in class, that can be used back at home
