Jacki began her yoga journey in 2000, this was certainly a turning point. She soon became addicted to the feeling of wholeness she was experiencing and the practice of yoga became a constant. Teacher training appealed early on but in her mid-twenties life was busy, and climbing the corporate ladder took precedence.
But practicing yoga remained a constant, enjoying varied styles with different teachers and loving it all.
Its funny how you come back to what draws you in the first place. When Jacki rediscovered the Gita style of Hatha yoga, she knew she was ready. This was the right time to share this magic in her community.
Jacki graduated with her Gita Gold Diploma in 2017 and hasn’t looked back.
She believes that life is about balance. You do not have to be flexible, vegan, give up coffee, or change anything about yourself to do yoga. The magic just happens and you feel better instantly. Practice leads to a clearer head that makes healthier decisions, after all, we are all a work in progress!
