Grant Smith

With a background in Holistic Health and Martial Arts, Yoga was a natural progression for Grant.

Practicing since 2006 and teaching since 2014, Grant’s approach instils correct alignment and activation of the body to recommence correct use of the body.  In this way, yoga is accessible for all and becomes a perpetual practice of self development.

During his time in Asia Grant was blessed to learn from an ordained Tibetan Lama, a master of Tibetan sound healing. The therapy of sound fascinated and amazed him, so he did intensive training with his teacher, and has been working with sound healing since 2009.

It is one of his favourite things to combine the healing properties of sound with the therapeutic benefits of Yin Yoga, with which he often combines the martial and healing practices of Qi Gung and meditation.
He also loves a strong and fluent practice, as well as the fun and vivacity of Laughter Yoga, which he has been facilitating since 2012.

Yoga, in all it’s forms, is a timeless practice, and a way to achieve longevity and harmony of body, mind and soul. Yoga is a lasting, and universal wisdom containing life-lessons that never become dated, or go out of style, and is a key practice for anyone interested in personal growth and the mastery of self.
