When Georgina and Mark’s path collided in a Woo Woo moment of attending the same event at the wrong location at the same time, we knew it was something special. Through synchronicities with work, personal lives and purpose our offering in Yoga Sound, Breath and Earth Connection is an overflow of life’s Woo Woo Moments.
As Wayapa Wuurrk Earth Connection Practitioners Georgina and Mark incorporate Indigenous Wisdoms and an embodied practice incorporating 14 Earth Elements to embellish the Earth, Mind, Body and Breath connection.
Georgina was introduced to Yoga as a teenager and has been practicing ever since. Georgina’s Yoga Teaching training was a 1,200 hour CAE/Boxhill Tafe learning in 2013/14. Georgina is now a Level 2 Yoga teacher with over 12 years teaching experience incorporating over 2,500 hours of Yoga teaching in varied settings. Georgina is passionate about Slow Flow Yoga and invites slowing down to connect Breath, Movement, Body and Mind with Earth Connection and Grounding. Inviting a Yoga Melt to fuse Earth, Body, Mind and Soul. As a Wayapa Wuurrk Earth Connection Practitioner connection to Mother Earth is always present. Georgina has a gentle and considerate teaching style that is inclusive for all as well as fun. Her motto is Simplicity is an Advanced Course.
Mark’s first understanding of the power of breath emerged through life’s glorious twists and turns. Exploring Wim Hof Method practices and cold exposure, he began to grasp the scope and depth of breathwork. His curiosity deepened, and in a true “woo-woo” moment, he discovered Rebirthing Breathwork.
Mark went on to study with Rebirthing Breathwork Australia for a year and a half, completing 450 hours of training and graduating as a Practitioner. His journey continued to unfold into an Earth-connection practice centred on Indigenous ways of thinking, being, and doing—supporting right relationship with community and reciprocity with the Earth.
On Gunnai Kurnai Country, Mark received ancient knowledge through the wisdom of Wayapa Wuurrk. It was here that he also learned to play the Yidaki (didgeridoo).
Mark creates and holds heart-led spaces in one-on-one and group settings, working collaboratively across Mental Health, AOD, and Justice sectors. Through community work, professional settings, and retreats, he shares a simple yet powerful message: What is one thing I can do each day to care for myself, my community, and my Earth?
The Earth is his beginning—then he breathes.
