Jem is a qualified Level 2 Yoga Facilitator, Community Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Worker, proud Mum to a cheeky 14-month-old, and the heart behind Namah-Stay, a brand new retreat space in Wonthaggi.
Having worked for almost 2 decades in mental health and moving through her own experiences with anxiety and depression, Jem discovered that the most powerful sources of healing, for herself and the people she supports, are meaningful connection, time in nature, and being supported to turn your passions into purpose. Guided by this understanding, she felt a deep calling to create a space where people could reconnect with themselves, with others and with the natural world.
That calling became Namah-Stay: a retreat space offering wellness experiences, events, glamping, wholesome food, and a nurturing environment where community can gather. It’s a place to rest, reflect, grow, and take brave steps toward living with more intention and even sharing your own gifts in a safe, beautiful setting.
Jem’s workshops weave together soulful movement, self-reflection, and authentic human connection. Her teaching style is warm and intuitive, grounded in the belief that we don’t need to have everything figured out, we just need a safe space to begin.
